**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Playbarn Cafe Assistant to join our team. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe and providing excellent customer service to the families that visit.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including cleaning tables, countertops, and equipment
- Assist with food preparation, such as slicing vegetables or assembling sandwiches
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Assist in restocking inventory and monitoring supplies

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and willingness to adhere to them

Pay: £10.44-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
