**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and drink
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen pass and workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance with menu selections.
- Operate cash registers and manage transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling processes.
- Engage with the team, by being involved with all sides of the service offering and support needs.
- Keep the cafe area clean and organised, including tables, counters and kitchen equipment

**Skills**
- Key is a friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued.
- Proficient in basic maths for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Experience in basic food preparation is an advantage, with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

- You will be given a trial shift and you will need to show us how good you are.
- At the trial shift, be courteous and kind, be fed so you come with plenty of energy, and arrive early so you can orientate yourself.
