What will you be doing?
You will support the Venue events manager in the planning and co-ordination of Matchday and non-match day Experience in line with the Venue Experience strategy both inside and outside of the bowl at St Mary’s and Totton.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of fan experience activations for all matchdays including half time entertainment and special events.
- Complete all matchday preparations in a timely manner including Running orders and matchday packs.
- Attend matchday planning and debrief meetings.
- Plan and order materials for matchday activations and events
- Resourcing external suppliers for matchday projects.
- Assist in the management and coordination of casuals, external contractors, and volunteers for matchdays.
- Progress fan experience projects as directed by Venue Events Manager and Head of Fan Experience in line with departmental priorities and budgets.
- To organise, coordinate and monitor activities of projects with other departments and outside contractors.
- Assist in planning and delivery of special events held at the stadium.
- Responsibility for ensuring department assets are presentable and well maintained.
- Provide cover for the Supporter services team when necessary.
- Any other reasonable tasks as directed by Venue Events Manager or Head of Fan Experience.
- This role will include an expectation to work during weekends for matchdays.
Person specification
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Minimum 1 year experience in delivering live events.
- Demonstrate ongoing progress in personal development and willingness to continue that journey.
- A confident and personable communicator
- A proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude
- Be computer literate, knowing how to use MS office quickly and precisely.
- Be a team player to deliver departmental and company objectives.
