Patient Safety Partner

We are looking for 2 service users/lived experience experts to join our developing team at ELFT to work collaboratively with our Patient Safety, Risk and Governance and People Participation teams on improving Patient Safety.
The successful applicant would work closely with staff, service users and carers to ensure the safety of everyone under our care is managed in the best possible way and that people who use our services have a say in improving them.
It is crucial to have our service users and carers involved in this work to draw on their expertise and experience to understand how we can better support staff and service users/carers.
These innovative posts focus on the need to bring lived experience leadership around all aspects of both planning and delivery of patient safety work within the Trust.

These posts will provide strong leadership, advice and practical project work across all aspects of patient safety in the development of a culture that is socially inclusive and values diversity. It will support and maintain effective communication, contributing to the training needs of service users and staff in this aspect of their work. The post holder will need to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have full access to training, support and regular supervision.
