Consumer CIO spend in excessive of £120m every year supporting the Consumer business and there are hundreds or projects and agile squads delivering value For Digital and Consumer. We also support to a lesser extent the Enterprise and Network units.

In this job, you will lead a specialist pillar to translate & validate Digital Goals & CFUs’ demands into deliverable activity and assure & enable Consumer CIO delivery. Across the PMO team you will collaboratively work to ensure a consistent strategy and approach to planning, data, reporting and governance considering the impact it has on our people, culture and commercials. Ensuring local implementation and alignment to the wider digital strategy with a crystal-clear customer focused structure to deliver it as guided by Consumer CIO Operations.

**Main responsibilities**
- Lead the Consumer CIO Programme Office team as being recognised as part of, contributing to and partnering with Leadership Teams across all facets of operational demand where required
- Assist in the transition to a more agile way of working for Consumer CIO working in partnership with our CDO colleagues. We will need you to put in place supporting processes and governance to aid the delivery and engineering teams
- We want to become a data and insights led team, so we need you to evolve our capability oround project reporting and dashboards. We’ll be looking for you to utilise the latest visualisation tools such as Qlik and drive self serve in our reporting
- Become a point of contact on project delivery methodologies and tooling for the Consumer CIO team
- Become a point of contact/expertise for the key finance tools used eg raising POs & Storm stories, project forecasting and submissions for funding
- Establish the correct operating model and ways of working with CFUs and within Digital to Build the right Digital team with the right skills to support the digital strategy with a crystal-clear customer focused structure to deliver it.

**Main skills/experience required**
- Experience in Project Management Office tasks
- Excellent relationship management capability and comfortable operating at senior levels (Director and MD). Leading significant governance forums and ownership for specific high profile interventions such as MTP (Mid-term Planning), QBR, annual planning, demand management and financial planning with COO, all digital units CFU, Finance and HR teams '
- Excellent reporting skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, data modelling and experience of business/continuous improvement methodology and practices, visualisation in Qlik and/or Jira
- You bring a continuous improvement mindset, anticipating and analysing obstacles in work processes. You drive develoing solutions and implement improvements to bring operational efficiencies
- You integrate complex data from multiple sources. You assess the quality of data and guide others to identify, follow up on and resolve issues. You take accountability for data being stored, protected and accessible for users
