Our client is the largest group of its kind in Europe who have grown quickly through friendly acquisition. They are in 20 European countries currently and recently broke into North America to become the fastest growing business of their type, in the World.

They are delivering a Group wide (European mainly) HR Transformation Programme affecting people, process, and technology with a new HR system. The Core HR system went live in the UK in January, they are in the Testing phase for the 1st Cluster of 6 Europeancountries and then there is planning to be done for phases affecting Clusters 2 and 3.

There is an overall Transformation Lead with various workstream leads across Process, Workforce, Data, Technology and other areas, however the Programme now needs to build the PMO function to bring all of these workstreams together, and to provide a MasterPlan. You will be reporting into the Group-wide Head of PMO.

The role will include:

- Supporting the Project Manager in the production and quality assurance of the project plan
- Monitoring delivery as the projects move through the project delivery lifecycle
- Ensuring adherence to governance standards set out by Head of PMO and compliance with strategic toolset usage (Smartsheet & Jira)
- Facilitating workshops on behalf of the PM to capture lessons learned, risks and issues, dependencies and solutions to progress blocking items
- Quality assure weekly status reporting, plan updates and risk, issue, action & change management Experience

Required:

- We're looking for a highly organised person who is wanting to progress their career to the next level in PMO or Project Management, and is tenacious enough to demonstrate this.
- We need someone who is resilient against programme challenges & points of uncertainty, but can also be flexible in their approach.
- Hands-on delivery experience is advantageous.

This is a senior PMO contract, outside of IR35 for 6 months, working remotely with travel to either the office in Somerset, or London once or twice per month.
