People Solutions are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their client based in Wolverhampton.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 16.00pm
The salary is £22,000
This is a great opportunity for someone who has Administrative with an interest of working within an Accounts team with progression on offer

Day to Day Duties
- Dealing with queries from clients, insurers, external debt collection agency and internal departments
- Maintaining daily accounts diaries, including client refunds and payment plans
- Online bank downloads, processing of BACs allocations onto OGI system
- Debt process and portal, issuing first debt letter, liaison with other departments
- Payment of client refunds via BACs, credit card and cheque
- Processing of third party collection agency receipts
- Reconciliation of payments received via external debt collection agency
- Monthly insurer and add-ons account reconciliations
- Online bank payments to insurers and suppliers
- Assisting with all aspects of purchase ledger
- Assisting Financial Controller with nominal ledger account analyses, reconciliations
- Assisting with other aspects of the accounts function, including cover for other team members, and ad hoc tasks and analyses as and when required
- Posting of journals and other transactions in Sage and OGI

Essential Skills
- Essential 2 years experience in a similar role
- Essential excellent working knowledge of using Excel
- Analytically and numerically minded
- Diligent with a high level of attention to detail
- A proven track record of operating within a deadline-driven environment
- Good organisational skills
- Flexible and approachable
- Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
- Able to work on own and as part of a team

Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of SAGE accounts system is desirable
