We are looking for a Membership Engagement Coordinator to join our Membership team, in a permanent capacity, working remotely or from our Swindon offices, or both. If working remotely, you’d be expected to come to the offices for important team meetings, quarterly events, and similar.
**Role context and purpose**:
The Membership Engagement Co-ordinator is responsible for enhancing individual member engagement with BCS, increasing engagement with content, communications, events and products. Strengthening membership retention and identifying opportunities for membership growth, working with relevant partners to develop membership programmes and offers.
You will be required to work cross-functionally with internal colleagues and externally with clients and members. The Membership Engagement Co-ordinator will possess excellent relationship building, communication skills and will play a supporting role in communicating and engaging with our member base.
You will be responsible for promoting BCS membership via a range of different formats with existing members from varied backgrounds and careers stages, ensuring new members are aware of member benefits and maximise their usage.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Promote BCS engagement and involvement amongst the membership base;
- Lead presentations, webinars and workshops about membership benefits and engagement opportunities to ensure members receive maximum benefit from BCS;
- Represent BCS at external meetings and events;
- Liaise with training providers to raise their awareness of BCS membership benefits and onboard cohorts of their learners into BCS membership;
**Experience**
- Commercial business development, marketing, or event management role;
- Experience delivering successful outcomes;
- Experienced in delivering presentations to a variety of audiences with the ability to adapt delivery style.
- Experience working with membership organisations/professional bodies;
- Experience in influencing engagement.
