We are currently recruiting Overnight Chat Customer Service colleagues on a full time basis, with a starting package up to £28,176 this is made up of a base salary of £22,400 along with an additional £500 flexible benefit, up to a £1526 discretionary performance related bonus, and also an overnight shift allowance of £3750 per annum.

You’ll use your natural warmth, energy and personality to help as many customers as you can each day. We'll help you to develop the skills needed to build strong customer relationships, take ownership and deliver that great customer experience.

Along with representing Santander to our customers, you’ll have a voice within the organisation too. As the first point of contact, you’ll get to know our customers better than anyone else. So, if you have an idea about how we can improve their experience or better ways of working, we’re all ears.

- Helping customers each day by answering customer queries online via webchat
- Assisting customers with day-to-day transactions and enquiries
- Helping to keep our customers and the bank safe
- Solving problems and escalating issues when necessary
- Updating customer records

**What you’ll bring**:

- Exceptional listening and communication skills with the ability to show empathy in a customer situation
- Experience of working within a customer services role, previous telephony experience not essential
- You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)

**It would also be nice for you to have**:

- Excellent teamwork with a high level of motivation
- Ability to follow process but also think on your feet
- Problem solving skills (real solutions, not just short-term fixes)

This role is based in Bootle and you will be expected to spend two days per month of your time in this office.

**Shift option**:

- This is a full-time role on overnight hours from 22:00 to 09:00 working 4 days on and 4 days off
- The position will also attract an Overnight Shift Allowance of £3750 Per Annum
- You will be required to commit to 6 weeks training on daytime working hours from 09:00 to 17:00 before reverting to the overnight shift pattern
- This is a permanent role
