Pertemps have a brand new and exciting opportunity for experienced Pension Administrators to join the team of one of our largest clients, Royal Mail.
Your role as a Pensions Administrator will involve:
- Calculating and processing members’ benefits based on their entitlements under the rules of the Royal Mail Pension Plan
- Communicating member pension entitlements and resolving member queries
- Delivering the product to agreed service and quality standards, in accordance with Plan rules and HRS service specification
- Playing a full part in developing and delivering continuous improvement activities in accordance with our PASA Gold Standard and Continuous Improvement frameworks.
- Taking responsibility for own personal and professional development
- Ensuring that own technical knowledge remains up to date to enable continued delivery of an excellent service.
- Must be educated to at least A-Level standard with strong English Language and Mathematics at GCSE level
- Ideally have track record/demonstrable record as an experienced pensions or payroll practitioner with a broad understanding of pensions legislation, particularly DB and Career Average schemes in a public sector environment
- Proven experience of delivering a professional, customer focussed service
- Strong numeracy skills
- Demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills
- A track record of working flexibly to ensure that customer requirements are delivered
- In-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
This role is being offered on a temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months.
Your rate of pay will be £12.40 per hour.
Working Week:
You will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5pm but you will be required to have a degree of flexibility with these hours to suit business needs.
