Purpose

As an Event Manager, you will lead a range of projects for our diverse portfolio of clients, this can include delivering exhibition stands and pavilions, conferencing, virtual and hybrid events as well as specialist projects and bespoke activations.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your account management skills. Owning key client relationships at both strategic and operational levels. You will identify opportunities to add value to client projects as well as seeking ways to develop newor extended existing projects to help our clients to achieve more.

The role involves a considerable amount of project management, and you will hold responsibility for producing and managing the critical time path for each project. You will chair project calls/meetings with a range of stakeholders, tracking actions and identifyingproject risks, managing the risk register, and developing mitigations to keep the project on track.

Supported by the Senior Events Manager and Director Business Operations, you will be responsible for working with our network of suppliers to develop the costs for each project, producing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for suppliers to complete and producingproject budgets and client quotations.

The event management team work closely with the business development and creative teams in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), tendering, and pitching for new projects. You will have the opportunity to lead this process, working with internal andexternal stakeholders to understand the brief, develop a response, prepare costings, and complete response documents.

As a member of the event management team, you will represent the company at industry events and will identify networking opportunities to raise the company profile to potential clients, suppliers, and the wider industry.

- Batchelor Degree or Equivalent

- Understanding of the Health & Safety process for live events and exhibition stand builds including the review of Risk Assessments and Method Statement
