**Event Catering Manager**

**Freemans Event Partners are currently recruiting Event Catering Assistants to help in the smooth running of our new catering operation at Twickenham Stadium**

**The Role**

We are looking for catering assistants to aid in the smooth running of our new catering units at Twickenham Stadium. As a catering assistant you will not only be responsible for all food served over the counter but also for ensuring that all health and safety aspects and adhered to at all times, whilst delivering an exceptional experience for the customer.

**What are we looking for?**

As an event catering manager at Freemans Event partners, you will not be required to have previous experience working within a catering environment, as we are a one of a kind company, you will be able to learn on the job. The role involves the need to handle, prepare and cook different types of foods, including raw meat, raw fish, vegetables, fruit and dairy. You will need bags of stamina, great personality and a flexible attitude, with the ability to remain calm when working under pressure.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring customers and clients are served in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Manage the day to day workflow within the team
- Lead by example in all aspects of your work
- Build good relations with other departments
- Share knowledge with your team
- Support event managers during event days
- Maintain a high standard of knowledge relating to your area of work and assist customers and clients where required
- Address all comments in a positive manner and take appropriate follow up action
- Create an environment with a ‘sense of urgency’
- Wear the correct uniform and safety shoes as directed, ensuring they are looked after
- Comply with all Company hygiene and health & safety procedures

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer competitive rates of pay for an events catering assistant depending on age and experience, however there is always scope for promotion.

**About Freemans Event Partners**

We were started 40 years ago with one mobile fish and chip unit that travelled round to local festivals and events. We’ve grown since then into a company that employs around 70 permanent members of staff and operates about **30-40** catering units. We attend events at lots of the major venues around the country including Silverstone, Twickenham, Cheltenham Races and during the summer we are at many of the big music festivals. At each of these events we employ casual staff to set up the infrastructure for the food and drink areas, deliver food and drink around the site. In any one weekend we can have 400 casual staff working for us across a variety of events.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
