**Role: Apprenticeship Preparation Programme Tutor (Traineeship)**

**Salary: £22,976 pro rata per annum**

**Location: Blackburn**

**Contract type: Fixed Term Contract - 6 months**

Tailor made are excited to be recruiting for a well-known reputable Training provider in the Blackburn area. They are looking for a Apprenticeship Preparation Programme Tutor to joining their knowledgeable and friendly team.

**The role**:
s To deliver engaging and interactive lessons on the employability course and within other disciplines where appropriate and necessary

s To support individual learners with targeted interventions and coaching sessions throughout the course

s To facilitate the inclusion of all learners thro

s To mark and provide constructive feedback on work for learners allowing them to improve and succeed within the Apprenticeship Preparation environment

s To support with the design and planning of the employability curriculum and individual sessions

s To regularly assess learner progress and record using the appropriate systems in place

s To monitor learner progress using the OneFile ePortfolio system and support the management throughout the employability course

s To engage effectively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive and accurate information is communicated regarding learners’ progress, achievements and support needs including liaising with parents and guardians

s To adapt individual learning plans to ensure every learner is catered for and is able to progress against their targets

s To inspire and positively influence learners through role modelling professional behaviour, effective communication and academic competence

s To ensure the safety of all learners and follow all organisational procedures where necessary

s To pro-actively develop your own skills and knowledge sharing best practice within the team where appropriate

s To keep up to date with all GDPR and data protection policies and legislation and understand and report any data security breaches promptly to the appropriate persons

s To undertake any other duties required as deemed necessary by the Traineeship Delivery Manager or a member of the leadership team

**About you**:
s Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification

s Possession of or willingness to work towards a Level 3 IAG qualification

s Accredited qualification minimum Level 2 in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT

s Robust knowledge of vocational occupational qualifications and curriculum including Functional Skills, Vocational and Work Skills and Behaviours

s Strong knowledge of Equality & Diversity and how to implement effective policy

s Strong experience of teaching or training in small groups

s Strong interpersonal skills, active listening skills and excellent ability to coach/mentor to aid learner progression

s Strong organisation and administration skills in the handling and completion of all learner programmes and associated documentation on a timely and accurate basis to contractual requirements

s Strong ICT skills with proficiency with word, Excel, PowerPoint in the development and compilation of learner materials documentation and records

s High personal level of Literacy, Numeracy and ICT ability

s Strong ability to deliver to established targets and deadlines in accordance with learner progression

s Experience of coaching and/or mentoring

s Experience of positive role modelling

s Experience of assessment and feedback

s Demonstrates open, honest and supportive behaviours which are in alignment with the Company’s Core Values

s Demonstrates an ability to support continuous improvement by offering innovative ideas and solutions which benefit the learning process
