**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is an exciting and varied position for an individual with proven PA/EA experience, to join our organisation, providing comprehensive and extensive support to one of our Directors across their multiple companies, non-executive roles and personal ventures.

**Responsibilities will be wide-ranging but will include**:

- Proactively managing the Director’s busy and ever-changing diary; arranging travel, accommodation, meetings and lunches, preparing itineraries and drawing attention to matters of priority
- Ensuring effective use of time with preparation of papers and information in advance
- Developing documents such as presentations, reports and event literature
- Event Management; planning events, developing communications and promotion, liaising with speakers and attendees, and hosting events
- Project Management including overseeing multiple projects and initiatives from inception to completion. Including writing project documentation, identifying and managing resource and budgets and working closely with others to ensure delivery of project objectives
- Conducting research and compiling information; presenting and recommending options.
- Building relationships and supporting communication between key stakeholders
- Proactively researching opportunities that may support the Director’s objectives such as events, accreditations, awards and useful people to meet etc.
- Coordinating a wide range of household and family affairs including arranging medical, dental and personal appointments, music lessons, travel planning and bookings including sporting and charity events, arranging vehicle care and maintenance and making household purchases

**Job requirements**
- Proven experience as a career Personal/Executive Assistant
- Comfortable working autonomously using own initiative and making decisions
- Proactive, reliable and trustworthy with excellent communication skills
- A natural problem solver
- Comfortable managing complex and confidential information which is handled with the utmost discretion
- Impeccably well organised, with the ability to juggle several tasks simultaneously and not afraid to suggest new ways of doing things
- Ability to focus on the detail but without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Driven by deadlines but can still produce a high quality of work
- Thrive under pressure with the ability to prioritise
- Emotionally intelligent with the ability to react to situations appropriately and professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Hold a full driving licence and have your own transport
- Experience in running social media accounts and websites would also be beneficial
- A passion for writing and articulating ideas in written form would be advantageous
- An interest in music would be complementary to future projects
