**Hipswing are looking for an enthusiastic event staff member to join their team. The ideal person will be used to working under pressure, adaptable to many different settings, able to interact with the public and work as part of a team.**

**You will be working on a range of events throughout the Northwest providing services to corporate and private clients at a range of venues.**

**About Us: -**

We are an established Audio Visual Hire, wedding dance floor, lighting and Staging Company based in Winsford, Cheshire. We are now looking to expand our team and continue to grow and develop our business. We strive to offer excellent customer service to all of our clients.

**Your Duties will include: -**
- Setting-up AV Equipment, Lighting Equipment, Dance floors and Staging
- Working at Heights up to 10m installing Rigging and Trussing Equipment
- Preparing, checking & Loading equipment for events and ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to.
- A responsible attitude both towards your colleagues and to clients when attending conferences, events and weddings or delivering / collecting hire equipment.
- Operating and /or working on Live Events
- Operating and Installing IT Equipment, Projectors and Audio Equipment
- De-rigging and checking equipment back into the warehouse
- Installing equipment as well as normal day to day duties associated with this industry and position
- Driving and Delivering Equipment

**Preferred Requirements: -**

Have previous AV experience and/or experience working within the events industry

Full Driving Licence and be used to driving a 3.5 tonne van

You should be able to display that you regularly use your own initiative.

You should have experience of delivering a high quality service to all types of client’s, have excellent client facing skills and good communication skills.

A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player.

Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly. You must have the capability to carry and lift AV equipment and staging from vans to venues.

If you have the experience, we are looking for then you will already know that this is not a 9 till 5 job. Due to the nature of our industry, we require our employees to have a flexible approach to their working hours. Weekend work will be required. We try hard to manage a work life balance for our team.

You will have set hours of 42 hours per week. Overtime gets paid extra and Bonus schemes are in place for Pick ups, Tech etc.

28 days holiday, with an additional day off for your birthday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £24,000.00 per year
