**Sunrise Nurseries are a small group of charity run/community enterprise nurseries. We have two nurseries in Winsford and one in Northwich.**

**Sunrise Wharton (Bradbury Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 3HN) are looking for two enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our friendly and supportive team as an Early Years Practitioner.**

**This is a permanent contract, the position is full time 40 hours. Shift patterns can consist of 5 x 8-5/9-6 days or 4 x 8-6 days and half a day off.**

**The positions are term time only.**

**Qualification requirements a minimum of a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification is essential. Further training is available and continuous professional development is an important factor here at Sunrise.**

**The job role involves**:
**To safeguard all children in the nursery and ensure all concerns are recorded accurately and passed to the designated safeguarding lead and that confidentiality is maintained at all times.**

**To provide the best start in life for every child by ensuring that the nursery is run accordingly to the policies and procedures of Over Hall Community Enterprises Limited and by delivering the support necessary to meet the Children's Centre Core Offer.**

**To provide a high standard of childcare and education - to include the monitoring and review of provision, providing a safe, caring environment to enable emotional, social and educational development of children through individual attention and group activities.**

**To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.**

**To ensure the provision of a high quality environment meeting the needs of individual children and families with differing social backgrounds, gender, disability, lifestyles, cultures and religion.**

**To use knowledge of the child to develop opportunities for individual children to follow their own interests in a rich learning environment**

**Develop skills and strategies for practitioners to establish a dialogue with parents around their child’s learning and development recognising the importance of the home learning environment.**
