Early Intervention Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen to join a well established Early Intervention in Psychosis service based in Vale Royal, covering this area in addition to East Cheshire.
We are looking to recruit a practitioner who is an enthusiastic and self-motivated and who works well within a team. Good communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with service users and carers, and being able to work within a multi-disciplinary team setting are essential qualities. In addition to conducting specialist assessments you will also carry a care coordination caseload providing early intervention evidence based interventions for service users experiencing first episode psychosis.
You will be responsible for the assessment of needs alongside the development & implementation recovery based care programmes for young people and their families experiencing the early stages of psychosis.
You will be an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated practitioner with a keen interest in the EI model and guidelines. You will be part of a well established multidisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting people in the community.
You will be able to take on the challenges of managing a caseload, including care co-ordination, conducting specialist assessments, supporting colleagues and be committed to the 6 Cs, team working and trauma informed care.
You will have the opportunity to take part in specialist training such as Family Interventions.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.
New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
