**About us**:
UCL is London’s global university. UCL Library, Culture, Collections and Open Science (LCCOS)
- provides outstanding staff, services and resources to support the world-class research, education and enterprise that is undertaken in UCL, and connects the world with UCL through innovative programming and engagement activities. LCCOS is acknowledged as an international leader in Open Science and Scholarship.

UCL Co-Production and Public Engagement is part of LCCOS. The team supports UCL staff and students to collaborate with external groups, institutions and communities.

With a focus on two-way, mutually beneficial approaches, the team supports all members of the UCL community regardless of career stage, background or experience. Our work focuses on removing the barriers that UCL staff and students may face when undertaking co-production and public engagement projects and supporting them to design and deliver the best possible activities.

The team includes the UCL Co-Production Collective, the first co-production support service of its kind nationally, which has been co-created from scratch by hundreds of researchers, patients, carers, practitioners, students and others interested in co-production.

**About the role**:
The purpose of this role is to support the Co-Production Collective & UCL Public Engagement team in our day to day work including project co-ordination, administration for events, our marketing and our work with our community members. You will work in line with the Co-Production Collective strategy ‘Our Direction’ and the Public Engagement strategy currently being developed. The role will also support delivery of specific projects related to the work of Co-Production Collective, and internal-facing projects to further embed a culture of co-production and public engagement across the university. This role will be a great chance to learn and develop within the team. It will suit someone who is proactive, flexible, and passionate about our work, alongside having good relationship development and administration skills and being keen to learn about event organisation and project co-ordination.

This is a fixed term contract with an end date of 31/07/2026.

This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require the right to work in the UK to carry out this role.

**About you**:

- Experience of working on projects and programmes either as part of a team or in an administration role.
- Excellent team working skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as both part of a team and on own initiative.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and accurately to a diverse range of people.
- Ability to develop sustainable relationships with a diverse range of partners and organisations, including public and voluntary sector agencies, and community groups.
