Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a rewarding, part-time role in a friendly, supportive environment? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic **Before and After School Assistant** to join our team at **Beeches Park Day Nursery**and help provide a safe, engaging, and positive space for children at the start and end of their school day.

We drop off and collect children from a local primary school in our electric mini-bus and bring them back to our nursery setting in Stretton. (A driving lisence is preferable for this role but not essential) - daily hours are 7.30-9am and 2.30-6pm.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Supporting the delivery of fun, age-appropriate activities including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and more.
- Supervising children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Helping with light snacks and refreshments.
- Building strong, respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensuring all activities follow safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusion policies.

**What We’re Looking For**
- A genuine interest in working with children aged 4-11.
- Experience in a childcare, school, or playwork setting (preferred but not essential).
- A caring, reliable, and energetic personality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A current Paediatric First Aid certificate or willingness to complete training.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
