**Self Employed Personal Assistant / Carer **(female)*

**How much? **£16.00 per hour

Our client is a lovely friendly lady in her 60s, living with the challenges of MS. The role is based at her home in Chester, CH1 where she lives on her own with her small dog. The lady requires support to maintain her independence.

**Hours?** Saturdays and Sundays 8am - 10am and 5pm - 6.30pm (alternate weekends)

**7 hours** every fortnight - to be part of a rota with a small team of PAs, requiring flexibility from applicants (including being available to cover other PAs holidays when needed) and our client is also willing to be flexible.

Experience is essential along with the right values and a caring practical approach, in a job where you can be proud.

MUST ALREADY BE SET UP AS SELF EMPLOYED AND HAVE A UTR NUMBER, REFERENCES AND INSURANCE

*Exempt under the Equality Act 2010

**Overview of Tasks**:Duties will include:

- Assisting with getting dressed and undressed
- All aspects of personal care
- Assisting with toileting
- Food preparation and drinks
- Domestic tasks including general tidying, laundry and ironing
- To undertake any reasonable task requested by the client

**Person Specification**
- Ability to use own initiative
- Honest, reliable, efficient, confident and a good timekeeper
- Good sense of humour
- Non smoker
- Flexible to cover holidays/sickness of other PA
- Must have DBS certificate and able to show proof of UTR number for HMRC set up
- Appointment of applicant is conditional upon receipt of satisfactory references
**It is a requirement, due to the nature of this role, that any applicant must have been vaccinated against COVID 19**
