Producer - Commercial Production

Reporting to the Executive Creative Producer and part of the wider Sky Media Digital team, the Producer will play a key role in running commercial and branded content jobs from ideation through to delivery. You will support the Exec Producer across multiple jobs at the same time and help on all key areas such as responding to briefs, creative pitches, client liaison, handling budgets and full production needs. An in-depth knowledge of Clearcast and APA rules and guidelines is a necessity. This is a hybrid role that involves out of hour work on occasion, as well as frequent travel.

What you'll do:

- Ability to work across different production types and needs at the same time (branded content, TVCs, idents, etc )
- Management of creative development, pre-production, production, post-production of all shoots and delivery on-air identity on a day to day basis
- Main point of contact and responsibility for each individual project from concept to delivery.
- Track budgets, shoot logistics and deliveries across all areas of a campaign
- High level of communication with Creative Solutions and P&P teams to produce inventive projects
- Ensure meticulous effective budget management, reconciliation on all projects and the processing of invoices; whilst working within the Sky and department policy & guidelines
- Proposal and management of crew including the Director for above shoots
- Form relationships with external Production & Creative partners
- Building a portfolio of suppliers, freelancers, crew across all media to ensure Sky are working with the best talent and most diverse range possible. Creating a Sky talent database. Managing and overseeing the contracting of suppliers and freelancers.
- Generation of call sheets and risk assessments and booking of post-production etc
- Manage legal and compliance clearances for all projects ensuring OFCOM regulations are adhered to, as well as clearances when required for; music, clip and image licencing as well as liaise with Clearcast, RACC and BBFC for script and copy approvals.
- Ensure IR35 checks are completed e.g. for cast, crew, composers, photographers, freelancers, suppliers etc
- Manage Health and Safety and Insurance requirements on all projects, in line with Sky policies
- Management of assigned Director, production team, crew and talent throughout whole project

What you'll bring:

- Experience of the media industry, with a passion for in multi-media production
- Clear and effective communicator
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work loads
- Be able to liaise with internal and external clients
- Knowledge of current film and digital formats and camera techniques. Up to date knowledge of regulatory bodies, health and safety and business/production insurance regulations
- Knowledge of crew and talent union regulations
- Understanding of current post-production techniques and editing/gfx systems
- Knowledge of supplier contracting and contract negotiations
- An interest and knowledge in current media and advertising
