Saturday Social Associate Producer

The role requires the leadership of a team of AP’s with responsibility for creating and producing world class digital and social first style content for Saturday Social. The role also requires collaboration and communication with the editorial and social teams in Sky Sports Digital as well as the Sky Sports live football content team. The Associate Producer, Saturday Social will be required to deputise for the Producer and will be required to liaise and align with football producers, ap’s and senior planner to ensure the best use of access and content on the show. Reporting to the Producer, Saturday Social this is a key role that will ensure Sky Sports remains the destination of choice for sports fans and continues to add value to the Sky Sports subscription.

What you'll do:
Production
- Plan, develop and produce video content strategies using football editorial expertise
- Cut and edit high quality sports content for use on the linear program as well as our owned and operated digital & social platforms
- Producing & directing high quality multi-camera ENG offsite and studio shoots with Talent.
- Inspiring production staff in your team to deliver against specific and clear KPIs in football
- Prioritise the promotion of key Sky Sports football events
- Work closely with the key planning staff to ensure the best use of access and content across all football platforms
- Maintain expert knowledge of current football issues and stories
- Mentor Senior Assistant and Assistant Producers’
- Support Sky and Sky Sports in the promotion of “Force for Good” initiatives

Relationship Management
- Work closely with video, editorial and social teams within Sky Sports Digital to ensure consistency of football output across platforms
- Build and maintain relationships with wider stakeholders: eg EA, Marketing, Strategy, Sky Media
- Ensure that lines of communication within and across departments are clear and workable
- Highly motivated and creative with a good understanding of the TV and social media space.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Senior level experience of editing and producing sports content, particularly in the TV space.
- Good experience and understanding of the digital and social space
- Experience working within complex and multidimensional work environments, managing multiple stakeholders with different objectives.
- Attention to detail
- An understanding of new and emerging media technologies and platforms and experience of delivering content services to each.
- Good knowledge of video production is desirable
- Working knowledge of media law
