The firm's many clients enjoy a high standard of business support across bookkeeping, VAT, accounts preparation, tax and business advisory services. Clients come from a range of wide sectors including construction, property, hospitality, agriculture, charities, medical and legal partnerships. This firm prides itself on maintaining and nurturing excellent client relationships.
As Accounts Assistant, you will support with full bookkeeping and VAT duties for a varied portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior members of the accounting team and assist them with the preparation of accounts to ensure client accounting deadlines are met. You will also deal directly with client queries, drawing on support from senior colleagues and developing your own commercial acumen for more complex client matters.
You will have previous experience of working in an accountancy practice (minimum 1-2 years) with excellent communication skills. You will be a team player and enjoy getting involved and supporting your colleagues. You will also have excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm for developing your existing relevant knowledge and skills.
