**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and lead a team of care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices in elderly care.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to the individual needs of service users.
- Communicate effectively with team members, service users, and their families to foster a supportive environment.
- Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as organisational policies.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Participate in training sessions to continuously improve personal knowledge and skills as well as those of the team.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in supervising within domiciliary care or similar setting is essential.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- In-depth knowledge of elderly care practices and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to drive initiatives that promote high-quality care standards.
- A compassionate approach towards service users and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Pay: £25,618.00-£26,390.00 per year
