What will this role achieve?
- To manage a selection of our Telesales customers including Wholesalers, Cash & Carry’s and Discounters to provide a high level of customer service which meets/exceeds our internal KPI measurements for both pladis and as 3rd party provider for KP
- Working closely with pladis and KP Commercial teams to ensure forecasts are aligned with the customer.
- Working closely with different departments within MDC to make sure customer orders are dispatched in full and on time.
- Be able to multi skill in a wide range of customers and be competent in covering the day to day running of most accounts, assisting with holiday cover.
- Become proficient in the use of all our internal systems.
- Be able to make your own decisions and work under your own initiative striving for an improved way of working.
- Being your customers Champion and be able to challenge decisions with Supply Planning on stock availability.
What will be your key results?
- Achievement of internal KPI’s, whilst providing the customer with a high standard of communication on availability issues, ways of working and best practice.
- Daily management of customer orders, involving the checking of stock levels, minimum life requirement for your specific customer and promotional volume tracking.
- Communicating with your customer daily to advise of any shortages and amendments of the orders.
- Daily service tracking and alignment of weekly service numbers from the customer.
- Daily update provided in the Tier 2 meeting of your customer service levels and anything that is impacting your KPI’s
- Attend quarterly reviews with team leads to look in depth at customer performance and look at ways to improve on any inefficiencies.
- Adhoc reporting that may be required for customer meetings.
- Investigation work on assembly shorts and DDDR’s if required on a daily basis to help improve customer service and to eliminate issues from future orders.
