Senior Finance Manager

Working Hybrid with 2 days a week in the amazing Hatfield Head offices and 3 days working from home The **Senior Financial Manager** (SFM) is responsible for managing the Group Operations commercial finance team to deliver finance business partnering to certain Group support functions (CFO, People, GGC and Group IT). This includes managing the budgeting and forecasting activities as well as delivering meaningful period end management information and insight to enable the business to make informed operating decisions. In addition, the SFM is responsible for providing commercial finance support in relation to the Groups unlisted equity investments ("Ventures") to ensure the business has adequate information and insight to make investment decisions. You will manage the delivery of the annual budget and periodic re forecasts for Group Operations. Provide finance business partnering (data, analysis and insight) to support the business areas decision making processes; And Delivery of period end reporting and analysis as part of the Group period end close process ***What else you will be doing?** - Business partner senior stakeholders (CFO, People Director, Group Counsel and Group IT) in their business area to provide insight and support decision making to achieve business plans - Manage the planning, budgeting and forecasting process for respective support functions including identification of risk and opportunities Manage the team to provide the support functions with financial expertise, insight and analysis to inform business decisions and deliver to targets - Manage the team to support business case development and other ad-hoc analysis required by the business by providing robust financial data - Support the development of operational drivers aligned to wider KPIs and metrics working with the business and wider finance teams - Drive the right financial standards, compliance processes and controls into the business areas - Continuously improve processes working closely with the knowledge centre and finance excellence and their business stakeholders representing the requirements of their area and the wider business across processes, tools, data & reporting - Manage a small but high performing highly engaged team of up to 3 people; setting clear objectives, managing performance and providing support and development ***About you** Minimum essential: - Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - Previous experience in a commercial finance role dealing with senior stakeholders Preferred but not essential - Experience in a fast-paced, high growth, global organisation - Experience of data/reporting systems ***What we offer you** Our employee benefits are designed for you, we care about people and we've ensured we have a wealth of benefits that focus on your well-being.
