Finance Administrative Assistant

Wolf Components are seeking an experienced **Finance & Administration Assistant** to become a valued member of our Rotherham based team. We are a family-owned independent business specialising in the production of mattress pocket spring components for the bedding industry. The Finance & Administration Assistant will provide support to the finance team and assist with general administrative tasks. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions and supporting smooth office operations reporting to the Assistant Accountant on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone who can bring their enthusiasm, professionalism and the capacity to excel both independently and within a strong team environment. You will be a reliable and detail orientated individual with strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and office procedures. Flexibility and a proactive "can-do" attitude to support the team as needed is key. **Salary**: £24,000 per annum, dependent on skills, and experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive company health scheme including life insurance after one year, escalating level thereafter with service. Discretionary annual bonus. **Key Responsibilities include**: **Financial** Assist in maintaining accurate financial records on ERP system and organising financial paperwork Process purchase invoices and payment proposals in a timely manner Monitor invoices inbox and related financial transactions Resolve supplier and customer queries Issue sales invoices daily Chase outstanding sales debtors and reconcile accounts receivable Reconcile and report on credit and purchasing cards **Administrative Duties** Admin support for Operations Administrator, HR and QHSE Handle incoming telephone calls and correspondence Raise and issue purchase orders Book in goods received Process occasional outgoing post, arranging special deliveries when required Digitising documentation and confidential records Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel Experience with accounting software Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills in a manufacturing business Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management and organisational skills **Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial Part-qualified or opportunity to study towards a professional accounting qualification after an appropriate period of time.
