**Job Overview** Hollybank Estates is part of a group of companies that specialise is property development ( commercial and residential), haulage, and civil engineering throughout Yorkshire region. We are seeking a highly organised self motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator with a "can do" attitude to join our team. This role requires proficiency in Excel, Word, Office and Xero, along with strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining a professional office environment. **Duties** - Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks. - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using computerised systems. - Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries as necessary. - Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required. - Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy access to information. - Support financial operations through basic bookkeeping tasks using Xero. - Coordinate office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure adequate stock levels. - Provide clerical support to team members, assisting with scheduling meetings and managing calendars. - Foster a positive office environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication. **Qualifications** - Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is preferred. - Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. - Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times. - Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous but not mandatory. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The main purpose of the role is to assist in all aspects of office management, secretarial duties and to support business development initiatives. You should have an eye for detail, be able to manage your own time and be able to work to deadlines. We are looking for an organised, helpful team player who is proactive along with a "can do" attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Overall, this role requires a combination of excellent secretarial ability, good verbal and written communication skills, and a professional approach to all aspects of your work.
