We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven **Hotel Receptionist** to join our team at The Central Hotel. Ensuring our guest’s expectations are always exceeded and that we build on the great reputation of the hotel.

The hotel which is situated on Riverside Road has 16 bedrooms will be undergoing a complete refurbishment throughout. There is currently a room where breakfast is served.

We are looking for someone passionate and excited about great customer service and with superb organisation skills. You should have some previous experience, in a similar environment and be happy dealing with our Hotel Guests.

**Responsibilities will include: -**
- Welcome (check in) all arriving guests to the required minimum standard;
- Checkout all departing guests to the required minimum standard;
- handle all telephone calls, including external and internal for in-house guests, enquiries and other departments;
- record and report maintenance and security issues, raised by guests or employees and follow up where appropriate;
- record and process lost property and follow up where appropriate
- Make out-of-hour bedroom reservations;
- conduct general administrative duties using Microsoft office, internet explorer, the hotel property management system etc;
- make breakfast reservations for in-house guests and non-residents;
- Balance cash and card charges at the end of each shift
- Assist with other duties as and when required.

Hours of work are negotiable/ variable depending on shift patterns which are a mix of Early and Late shifts with weekend working a key part of the job.

Schedule: variable shift patterns (16 -40 hours per week).
