**What will you be doing?**:

- Providing leadership of regional spread direct reports, investing in their skills and business knowledge, inspiring and providing appropriate direction
- Engaging and building effective strong sustainable customer relationships, achieve sustainable growth in our debt and deposit book, and active customer base
- Driving and supporting the team in detailed analysis of customers’ business financials and support pricing negotiations, putting in place the most appropriate solutions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in your local market, including Chambers of Commerce and Local Enterprise Partnerships.
- You will be accountable for ensuring your team manage their costs appropriately so that my discretionary and cost budgets are not exceeded.
- Managing operational resource levels within your team, and taking accountability for recruitment and succession planning to ensure customers are supported at all times.

What we’re looking for:

- Experience of managing stakeholders at a senior level, including presenting to senior leaders i.e. MD’s, Directors etc, supporting and challenging them where appropriate
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to travel regionally and be flexible to serve the needs of the business.
- Experience of leading a team in a customer - facing capacity, delivering great customer and commercial performance by empowering and motivating others

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Working knowledge and understanding of Zeus platform.
- Certified in; IFS: ACIB, PCertB, Cert BB&C, DipBB&C or Omega Credit Skills Development (CSD) is preferable
- Or willing to study and work towards completion of IFS Diploma of Business Banking or Omega Credit Skills Development (CSD) within 12 months of starting in role.
