Morrison Water Services is recruiting for an Assistant Utilities Administrator. You will support our HS2 multi utilities diversion contract from our Coleshill Project Office in the Midlands.
HS2 is a state-of-the-art, high-speed line critical for the UK’s low-carbon transport future. It will provide much needed rail capacity across the country and is integral to rail projects in the North and Midlands. This all helps to re-balance the UK economy. Our works are performed on behalf of Tier 1 Joint Venture organisations across the prestigious HS2 Phase 1 project from London to Birmingham.
What makes a successful Assistant Utilities Administrator at Morrison Water Services HS2 Contract
- You’ll have experience in data entry
- You’ll have an analytical mind with good attention to detail
- You’ll respond to supplier queries and update records
- You’ll be confident working with Word, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS/SharePoint
- You’ll have good written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and attend external meetings
- You’ll have good customer service dealing with all enquiries in a professional manner
As an Assistant Utilities Administrator you will need to plan, manage, coordinate administrative and document control procedures and systems. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new materials. Assist in managing financial and commercial aspects of the contract.
You will be required to maintain and update both manual and computer records of the area covered by Client supplied services. You will need to create predefined reports that are part of contract and Client requirements. Utilise quality management system documents. Work together with the onsite team and Group to ensure accurate processing of orders, invoices, timesheets and leave records.
You will be responsible for all communications and filing. Be involved in report and document preparation. Creating assessments and presenting results. Editing timesheets from Engineers, tracking and checking data quality
Collect, assign, and update tasks regularly using SharePoint.

Have you gained knowledge of ProjectWise and Business Collaborator is preferred but not essential?
Do you have an understanding of project document control processes?

**Additional Information**:
- A full-time Office-based role at Coleshill, Warwickshire, B46.
- A fixed term contract for 6 months only.
