We are currently looking for a 16-hour Night Shift Supervisor to join our team.

The Welcombe Hotel Night Shift Supervisor role requires a dedicated individual who can uphold the hotel's standards of service, security, and guest satisfaction even during the nighttime hours. It is a critical position that contributes to the overall positive experience of our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Assistance**:

- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during night hours.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes as needed.

**Security and Safety**:

- Monitor security cameras, fire alarms, and other safety systems.
- Patrol the premises regularly to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms, disturbances, or medical incidents, and take appropriate action.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Handle night audit procedures, including balancing accounts and generating reports.
- Assist with processing reservations and ensuring accurate guest information.
- Perform basic accounting tasks, such as handling cash transactions and reconciling payments.

**Guest Comfort**:

- Set up the lobby and public areas for the following day, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Provide wake-up calls and assist with guests' special requests, such as arranging transportation.

**Maintenance and Housekeeping**:

- Address minor maintenance issues, such as changing light bulbs.
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including restocking amenities and ensuring cleanliness in common areas.

**Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with the night shift team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide accurate and timely handover to the morning shift staff, highlighting any important guest information or incidents.

The Welcombe Hotel Night Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of the hotel during the night hours. This position involves providing exceptional guest service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and the property.

**Required Skills**:

- Previous experience in a guest service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with hotel management software and systems.

This is a truly exciting time to join the team at The Welcombe Hotel. We are currently recruiting a Night Supervisor to join our existing team.

You will have had previous experience on a hotel night team, preferably as a supervisor.

As a Night Supervisor, you will be the main point of contact during the night for guests and team members alike, and so you will have a professional and friendly attitude.

While on shift, your duties will include making sure that the hotel is safe and secure at night, as well as looking after any needs of guests.
