Learning Disability Support Worker

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities. This role requires a caring and patient individual who is committed to supporting our individuals to thrive in adulthood.
**Responsibilities**:
- Providing personal care assistance to individuals with disabilities
- Assisting with feeding when necessary
- Supporting individuals with emotional regulation
- Supporting individuals to engage in a range of sensory activities and accessing the community
**Requirements** - Previous experience with people with complex needs - Previous experience in an education, care or a related field is desirable
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding towards individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to undergo necessary training in disability support practices
- A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives
This job is on some weekends (9:30-2:30) and some days during the week during school holidays (9:30-2:30).
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
