Support Solutions are looking for reliable and compassionate people to work in the area of Harrogate, supporting 1-1 client within the comfort of their own home and the local community**. You must be able to DRIVE with your OWN car. If you have 10 years UK **drivingexperience **you will be able to use the **clients **car.**

**£14 PER HOUR plus 30p per mile **All travel time (GPS tracked) is paid.

**We are looking forward hearing from you**
- **DAY** work from 2 days to 5 days - arrangements can be made to assign set days and hours in set areas. The client has a set 2 week working rota that we work too, of which 2 staff work together on a weekend, you will be required to work one weekend in 2.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Personal Hygiene (e.g. assisting with washing and dressing)
- Preparing and serving meals
- Supporting with medication
- Supporting with social activities / outings
- Supporting the client with medication (e.g. prompting and administering)
- Moving and handling assistance
- Support with laundry and other light domestic duties
- Providing social support
- Monitoring of health and general wellbeing

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Great interpersonal skills
- Able to work on own initiative and effectively as part of a team
- Able to cook basic meals
- Full UK Driving Licence (mandatory)
- Learning disability experience (or advanced dementia knowledge skills as these skills are transferrable.)
- BSL - a basic knowledge with the willingness to advance.

**Desired Skills**
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or residential care essential

There role REQUIRES experience. We provide all mandatory training and arrange shadow shifts before you visit clients alone.
