Job Introduction
Our Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship is designed to provide people with the structure and support to continually develop and grow within Network Rail. Through a mix of study and on the job learning, you will achieve a degree (without the cost) as well as the exciting opportunity to use your learning in the workplace and work towards becoming a Commercial Manager.

You will be guided by the Commercial Leaders who will empower you to grow and develop. You will also get the chance to work independently and learn how to thrive in high pressured environments.

Main Responsibilities
**Who you are**:
We’re looking for go-getters with an appetite to learn. Technical competence is not all that’s required to be successful, but it’s certainly a bonus if you have it Soft skills are equally as important such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and adaptability.

**What you’ll be doing**:
You will get the chance to work across the team giving you the opportunity to widen your skillset and excel in the area of quantity surveying. Along with part time education and internal training throughout the scheme, you will upskill yourself in the relevant skills and competencies required for Network Rail. Upon completion of the Level 6 qualification, you will be able to use your experience to become a fully effective professional with the opportunity to continue learning and developing in a specialist area. This apprenticeship combined with on the job learning at Network Rail will provide you with the chance to share experiences and network with other graduates and apprentices. Once you’ve completed the scheme, you can position yourself as a fully effective skilled professional with the opportunity to try out different roles and types of work.

**What you’ll get out of it**:
Once completed, you will gain a BSc (Honours) Quantity Surveying award. The apprenticeship is accredited by RICS and provides an opportunity to progress to full professional membership.

This Apprenticeship will include the knowledge, skills and behaviours typically required to achieve full member or chartered status with the industry’s recognised professional bodies.

**The entry requirements**:
In your order to be eligible for this scheme you must have:

- 112 UCAS points from at least two A levels, or equivalent BTEC National qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English language at Grade C or 4

Package Description
- Your starting salary will be £24,500
- The scheme lasts for five years.
