Overall purpose of job:
Reporting into the IT Team, the PDM (Product Data Management) Analyst is responsible for the change management process of SAP Material Master Data and Data improvement activities.
He/she will be responsible for executing best in class material master data management principles to drive data quality and execute tasks to implement the Global Master Data Management Strategy to sustain and improve the quality of our master data.
This individual will perform tasks to execute the business segment vision and strategy for global master data management including key processes, improvements and technologies for Material Master Data.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and validate request received through workflow to create/ modify Material records in SAP
- Enter and maintain accuracy of material data elements in SAP, including Bill of material, Routes, Work centers, Production versions and Recycling.
- Single point of contact for material master related data for the Business Segment.
- Coordinate Product change management activities with business i.e., supply chain, purchasing, planning, manufacturing, finance, marketing, R&D and Packaging to ensure all information is timely, accurate and complete.
- Policing processes, data rules and adhering to data policies including maintaining rules.
- Support data, reporting and process improvement activities.
- Train and provide support to users on SKU creation/Modification tools and other Material Master solutions/reports related to material master data in SAP.
- Participate in business specific, regional and/or global projects.
- Serve as key resource to implement key business transformation initiatives impacting global organizational, processes, and technology as it relates to material master data.
- Support in data cleansing activities as required.
- Provide necessary information and communication for product data changes throughout the business.
- Provide product reports (using SAP solutions) as needed to aid business decisions
- Monitor product reports change notices and exception messages to ensure information is correctly loaded and in compliance with system requirements.
- Ad hoc tasks and other responsibilities as required
Knowledge/ Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material master data management, data analysis, information technology or supply chain.
- Understanding of business processes. Financial and operational acumen is beneficial.
- Experience of adhering to and upholding defined process standards
- Experience working with SAP ERP
- Project / Program management experience is beneficial.
- Experience of maintaining or governing master data is beneficial

- Fluent in English

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Adaptability - adapt and adjust quickly to changes in business
- Demonstrates tact, fairness, professionalism in dealings with others and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and handling confidential information.

- Leverage facts, data and experience in recommending business or IT solutions
- Self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Salary : £28,000
Hours ; 37.5 hours per week
