**This is the job**:
Are you customer service driven with proven business development and sales experience? As a Sales and Retention Customer Advisor you will build relationships with our clients and help to drive revenue and growth for The AA Driving School.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sale driven individual to work within a growing team, where you will be responsible for ensuring our instructors receive best in class customer service and advice. This role will place you at the heart of retaining our customers by actively listening, understanding the customers’ needs, creative solutions and offering our fantastic, tailored AA services.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Retaining customers who are looking to resign from the franchise
- Working with existing customers to renew contracts to support the growth of our business
- Performing customer negotiations and reach a fair conclusion from both business and customer perspectives
- Evaluating and adapting our processes to ensure we are always working to the highest efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Developing an understanding of our competitors to drive industry advantage
- Providing monthly reports on activities and findings to support growth within the organisation
- Contacting customers to discuss renewal of their contract
- Maximising our retention rate by securing contract renewals and new business from old contracts

**What do I need?**:

- Proven telephone sales experience
- Experience building rapport and understanding over time with potential new customers, providing ongoing support and advice during a potentially long decision-making process
- Preferably experience of working in a regulated telesales environment, taking care adhere to relevant FCA guidelines on language and script where required
- Demonstrable experience working with proprietary IT systems for Customer Management and Sales
