**Location and Hours**
This is a full-time position in our South Kensington Study Centre
**Job Overview**
As a member of the high performing Program and Student Services (PASS) team, this student-facing role takes responsibility of key areas of program delivery for American college and university students in London. Primary areas of focus include custom program planning, vendor oversight and relationship management, and student housing. Working collaboratively with a team of PASS Coordinators, each with varying primary responsibilities, this role ensures the delivery of high quality global academic experiences.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Collaborative with PASS team members to project manage CAPA London programs
- Provide high quality student support and advising to ensure students have the best possible study abroad experience.
- First point of contact regarding student housing. Develop relationships and secure favourable rates and contracts for student housing in London, in a post-pandemic market.
- Build and maintain London suppliers/contacts database; research and scope new venues for student events, build relationships with new and existing suppliers, and negotiate competitive pricing for program budgets.
- Work with US Custom Program Development team to build future London programs
- Identify and secure appropriate guest speakers, excursions, and site visits with input from Internship and Academic Teams.
- In collaboration with the Director of PASS, Manager of PASS, and the Boston Marketing team, ensure that student materials are inspiring and accurately represent the philosophy and ambitions of CAPA in London
- Play a key role in planning, creating and delivering student arrival and orientation
- Attend evening and weekend social events for students throughout the term
- Act as a member of CAPA’s crisis support team on a rotational basis, providing 24/7 emergency support to all London students.
- Opportunities to participate in CAPA global committees and cross-functional groups, gaining exposure to the academics and internships teams for a well-rounded understanding of the student experience.
- Other duties as requested by the Manager or Director of PASS.
**Qualifications**
- Excellent customer services skills and a strong interest and ability to work with people, particularly university students
- A flexible and adaptable personality and work style, unflappable in high-pressured and fluid situations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent diary management and experience prioritising tasks in a busy workload.
- A creative flair for presenting information; advanced digital presentation skills
- Confidence with contracts: identifying deliverables, negotiating best rates and terms, and budgeting with sophisticated attention to detail
- The ability to work independently, the confidence to work with little guidance, while also being a strong team member comfortable with collaboration. The implicit awareness of understanding when collaboration or independent work is required.
- Strong digital technology skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Office and a familiarity with databases.
- Flexibility with time and a willingness to work outside of regular office hours as required
