Part Time Employee Relations Officer

We have partnered with an NHS trust looking for an Employee Relations Officer on a part time basis at 20 hours per week. This is a contract role for 3 months with the possibility of an extension.

This role is based on site near Rochester, Kent.

**Salary**: £22.43 - £25.67 PER HOUR DOE

As an ER Officer you will play a pivotal role in facilitating successful organisational change processes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist managers and colleagues in navigating change, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.

What You Can Bring:

- Previous HR experience
- In-depth knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions.
- Proficiency in Change Management principles and practices.
- Proven experience in providing support to managers during Organisational Change initiatives, including handling redundancy situations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Key Role Requirements & Responsibilities:

- Drafting Provide support and advice to staff and managers on a range of Human Resources issues including terms and conditions of service, policies, employee relations matters relating to disciplinary investigations, minor breaches, and grievances, sickness absence and special leave entitlements where tact and sensitivity is required to provide effective advice the Formal Consultation Paper and guiding stakeholders through the process.
- Ensuring effective formal consultation with staff representatives and affected employees within agreed timelines.
- Use own initiative and judgement to provide accurate advice taking into consideration which HR policies/ procedures and best practice to follow and taking stock of all aspects of the information received.
- Active participation and support in all consultation meetings, collecting and addressing feedback and concerns.
- Assisting managers in completing the Outcome Paper.
- Facilitating the management of at-risk staff, including implementing redeployment and ring-fencing procedures, and managing potential redundancies.
