Senior Mechanical Design engineer - Loughborough
Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to join a world leading renewable energy R & D company with a diverse product portfolio of next generation renewable fuel technology based on Loughborough? If the answer is Yes, this is the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer job for you. The work is essential, and the team driven by a motivation to change our reliance on fossil fuels and carbon technology.
My client is a well-known, multi-million-pound company, specialising in the development of fuel cell technology for several industries.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer within this job, you will be responsible for:
*Mechanical Design of new systems and products.
*Leading a team of mechanical engineers.
*Ensuring the effective delivery of design and development programmes.
*Identifying and implementing process improvements
*Identifying new suppliers and appropriate new realisation methodologies.
*Ensuring appropriate engineering processes and tools are used.
The requirements for the Senior Mechanical Design job are:
*Mechanical Design Engineering experience
*Degree-Qualified or equivalent in Engineering or a related Science.
*Demonstrable track record leading and developing teams
*Demonstrable experience of managing product design projects
*A sound understanding of design process.
*Ability to inspire a team of engineers.
