What's
the role?
Join our Graduate Scheme after studying for your
BEng (Hons)
. You will be based in our
Loughborough
office and will specialise in
mechanical engineering
.

This is a blended learning opportunity combining
and will exposure to the whole business.
The role is office-based and focused on
Medium to High Voltage Power Transformers
. The scheme will start in September 2026 and run for 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and use engineering design software
  • Review and check technical drawings
  • Attend internal design review meetings
  • Shadow qualified engineers on live projects
  • Join engineers on client site visits and meetings
  • Assist with calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Support general office activities such as document management
  • Learn and use engineering design software (Autodesk - Inventor & AutoCad)

What
we're looking for:

  • BEng (Hons) or MEng : Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
  • GCSEs at a grade 4 or above

  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Confidence with numbers and technical measurements
  • Organised and methodical approach
  • Strong time management and reliability
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving

  • Comfortable working across office, site, and university settings
