**Job Role**: Health & Safety Administrator
**Location**: Blyth

ISG have recently secured a £500m new build Battery Gigaplant project in Blyth. We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Administrator to help set up, administrate and manage a thorough document and information control system for the safety team on the project and manage all aspects of the day-to-day administration of the safety team.

What will you be doing?
- Responsibility and interface for the initial set-up of the safety team (in conjunction with other company support departments).
- Help manage the information distribution involved in safety management using the document control system.
- Ensure that an effective internal review loop is maintained so that all documents are properly reviewed by the Safety Team.
- Establish from outset a close relationship with the H&S Lead to ensure that the proper procedures are put in place to maintain safety management and contractual integrity of the Project.
- Communicate to the Project Team the abilities of the safety management system and provide training, technical and procedural support for all users.
- Thoroughly police the procedures and standards defined in the project's protocols and procedures.
- Maintain an awareness of the current issues and progress of the project to ensure that documents are continuously prioritised in a way to best suit the Project.
- Create and maintain an accurate, efficient and user-friendly filing system ensuring that reports and documents are easily found.
- Order reprographics as necessary, liaising with the Project Team and the reprographics supplier to ensure that costs are controlled.
- At the end of the project, ensure that all project files are collated and correctly archived for easy and accurate retrieval.
- General administration (to a high standard), including typing, distribution, copying and filing general correspondence. Documents can range from general correspondence to key project related information.
- Binding and collating reports for professional presentations.
- Arranging key project events such as completion events, client meetings, lunches etc and ensuring that the necessary facilities and refreshments are available.
- Promote ISG values and maintain company brand and procedures in line with the Safety Management System and Brand Guidelines.
- Receive all project calls in a prompt and effective manner, in line with company policy.

About you
- Document control experience, preferably using Asite, Aconex
- Knowledge of the safety management requirements
- Proven planning and process management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Methodical approach to duties
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel
- Good organisational skills

**Qualifications**:

- IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH Certificate (Desirable)
- Experience using an electronic document control system (Essential)
