**Job Title**: Administrator/Bookkeeper

**Job Summary**
The Garden Landscapers is a design-led landscaping company with a reputation for quality workmanship and a conscientious service. We undertake complete garden transformations working collaboratively with garden designers and private clients throughout the South East.
Having recently acquired significant new contracts, we are looking for a reliable and organised administrator to take on our bookkeeping and other administrative functions. Experience of bookkeeping is preferable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
**Core responsibilities**
Using Xero to manage regular bookkeeping functions including:
- Processing invoices and receipts
- Administering payroll
- Submitting VAT returns
- HR administration
- Communicating with Director and Business Manager
**Additional responsibilities**
- Project administration
- General administration and PA duties as required
**Essential Qualifications and Skills**
- IT competency
- Literacy with Microsoft 360
- Good administrative skills
- Transferable experience
- Ownership of capable computer or laptop
- Self-directed learner
**Desirable Qualifications and Skills**
- Competency with Xero or other bookkeeping software
- Knowledge of project management software
**Key Attributes**
You will be joining a motivated, hardworking, and ambitious team and so the ability to communicate well and put your personal needs aside for a common purpose are a must.
We will expect you to be able to organise your workload and be proactive in solving problems.
You should be prepared to be committed to maintaining timely bookkeeping functions every week, to submit payroll every month, and process a VAT return every quarter.
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
