We are a small, fast-growing property maintnance company located in Hastings, East Sussex carrying out works throughout Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton and surrounding areas.
We currently have an opportunity for an office administrator to join our team. This will be an office-based role and any applicants should have good communication skills, the ability to manage your own work load and time, exceptional organisational skills and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
Duties
- Assisting the Directors with the day to day running of the business.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Schedule appointments and maintain work calendars
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
**Skills**:
- Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with office equipment and computer software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
