Maintenance and Repair Administrator

A housing association is looking for a Repairs and Maintenance Administrator to join their team. The role will initially be on a 3-month contract with hybrid working model.
YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for the delivery of a customer focused reactive maintenance service. You have to ensure that work orders are input onto the Kypera system and updated as necessary. You will proactively engage with residents to provide support, adviceand interventions to ensure that properties are effectively maintained, all repairs are undertaken promptly and to high standards, contractors are monitored and supervised ensuring performance targets are achieved and high levels of customer satisfaction isattained.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer Service Centre
- To provide excellent repairs and maintenance services to customers in accordance with the Association's policies, procedures and service standard.
- Respond to all enquiries regarding repairs, giving general advice and assistance and ensuring an effective response to requests for repairs and maintenance services
- To raise accurate work orders to maximise first time fix and minimise the need for orders to be varied.
- Respond promptly to emergency and urgent maintenance queries to safeguard customers and property.
- Ensure all works orders are completed and recorded accurately within agreed targets.
- Liaise effectively with contractors and developers and work collaboratively with colleagues and teams to successfully manage and resolve repairs issues.
- Provide data on a regular basis to assist in monitoring contractors' performance and the customer experience.
- To seek comparative quotes when required in line with the Association's financial regulations.
- Regularly monitor all job costings and works, taking appropriate action to ensure that expenditure is within budget.
- Update property components as required.
- Provide administrative support for management of planned maintenance programme and cyclical works.
- To work flexibly with colleagues to ensure adequate departmental cover during core times.
- To liaise with other departments, public, statutory and voluntary agencies, as required, to ensure the delivery of the repairs and maintenance service.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous admin experience
- An Understanding of housing repairs and maintenance would be beneficial
- Highly organised
- Good customer service skills
