We are Places for People Group, we're a social enterprise that believes it's more than just homes that make a community - it's people. That's why we build homes and manage communities where everyone can thrive.
**More about your role**
We're at the beginning of a really exciting journey to create our new Reward strategy - creation of a grading, pay and benefits structure that works for our diverse business and allows us to attract and retain the talent we need. As a result of this we are growing our team, so we'd love you to join us as a Reward Consultant.
This is a unique opportunity to create something from scratch and be part of that journey from the beginning.  This is not a business-as-usual Reward role, although the business isn't going to stop whilst we design and deliver our new approach, so we will need you to evaluate and benchmark roles and carry out all the usual cyclical activity: Gender Pay Gap, CEO Pay ratio reporting, pay review, bonus and benefit renewals, in addition to supporting senior leaders with your expert advice and our RemNom committee.
Our Reward team is part of the broader People Services team at Places for People, working alongside other HR professionals, supporting the c. 20 businesses in our diverse Group.
**Although this is an Agile role there will be a requirement for you to travel**to either our Preston or Leeds office once a month on average.**
**For more information, please download our job profile available on our website.**
**More about you**

Experience of terms and conditions harmonisation would be beneficial. You will be highly analytical and have the ability and confidence to use different systems, including advanced level MS Excel skills.
As mentioned, this is a role that gives you the rare opportunity to be a part of creating a new reward framework, so we are looking for some one who is passionate about reward and getting it right. You will be motivated and driven by results, and not afraid to suggest new ways of working. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to influence, and the ability to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and peers.
**Benefits**
We are a large diverse and ambitious business, which will give you all the challenge you could wish for.
We know that there's always more we can do to make you smile, that's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package with each role, yours will include:
