**Band 6 Occupational Therapist**

**Lancashire - Lancaster**

**Up to £40 per hour**

TFS Healthcare are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team in Lancaster.

This role is scheduled to start ASAP and will be an ongoing contract, the working hours will be Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) 37.5 hours per week.

**Specific skills**:

- To manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
- To provide leadership for students and/or junior staff, through supervision and appraisal
- To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy/Multi-disciplinary Team services, holding responsibility for define projects
- To carry out MDT activities e.g., generic assessments and duty responsibilities as required

**Key requirements for this role as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist**:

- Must have HCPC registration
- Right to work in the UK
- Own DBS update services would be highly advantageous
- Must have knowledge of protocols and DC planning is essential
- Provide PT assessment and treatment of acute orthopaedic problems/ surgeries
- Be actively involved in discharge planning with MT
