**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our Care, Childcare and Counselling department at The Bedford College Group**.**

As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through:

- **Teaching & Student Support** - Deliver high-quality teaching in Nursing or Health and Social Care across various levels, supporting students through tutorials, assessments, and personalised learning to help them achieve their full potential.
- ** Curriculum & Quality**Development** - Contribute to curriculum innovation, develop schemes of work, and implement quality processes, ensuring alignment with awarding body standards and funding priorities.
- ** Assessment & Progress Monitoring** - Assess and verify student work, maintain accurate records, and monitor progress to ensure timely interventions and successful outcomes.
- ** Collaboration & Engagement** - Work with colleagues, employers, and support staff to enhance learning experiences, participate in marketing events, and mentor new teaching staff.
- ** Compliance & Professional Standards** - Uphold TBCG values and statutory responsibilities in safeguarding, equality, health and safety, and professional development, ensuring the student experience remains central to all activities.

**About you**:

- ** Industry & Teaching Experience** - Background in the health and/or social care sector with proven classroom management skills and the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
- ** Adaptability & Confidentiality** - Able to manage sensitive data, work independently or in a team, adapt to changing workloads, and meet deadlines while maintaining professional boundaries.
- ** Values & Compliance** - Demonstrates alignment with The Bedford College Group’s values and policies, including safeguarding, equality, and health and safety, with flexibility to travel and adjust working hours as needed.
