**Internal Auditor - Insurance**
Internal Audit team are currently looking to add a highly motivated and enthusiastic Auditor to conduct internal audits, ensuring that all policies and procedures are complied with. The Auditor will have the opportunity to engage across the business, includingthe Global GIA team
**You will be involved with (but not limited to)**:

- Assisting the senior auditor or the manager in planning, scheduling and monitoring performance against audit plan
- Preparing high quality working papers so that work performed is evidenced and issues are appropriately identified
- Drafting, preparing and submitting audit findings that can be included in the final audit report

**Ideally you will need to be able to display that you have the following knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in auditing financial and operational controls within the insurance or the financial services sector
- A relevant qualification or part-qualification in Accountancy or Internal Audit;
- A dedicated team player, who takes initiative and actively solves problems
- Knowledge of
- the London and/or global insurance market
- Internal Audit principles
- Risks and risk management principles
- Knowledge of financial systems and controls
- Knowledge of audit processes and approach, including computer-assisted audit techniques
- Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)
