**JOB SUMMARY**

Homemore is a specialist provider of emergency accommodation to those with no fixed address. We are different from other emergency accommodation providers because we work with our residents to provide them with appropriate support and guidance to improve their general well-being and access to services, with our ultimate aim being to provide them with the tools they need to live independently.

This is a really exciting role for the right person to own the operation of a Homemore building, help support Homemore residents, and work collaboratively with a wide variety of people within, and external to, the organisation.

**KEY RELATIONSHIPS**

You will work closely with the Homemore founders, senior management and other Homemore Staff.

On top of this you will come to know residents very well as you will see and interact with them every day. You will work very closely with the Leads and highlight resident support needs, behaviours and patterns to them. Examples of engagement you may have with people within and outside the organisation include:

- Arranging and facilitating meeting space for external agencies to visit residents within the building;
- Providing ad hoc updates on resident welfare to the Welfare Lead and direct line manager;
- Liaising with and organise resident appointments with mental health and drug and alcohol services;
- Preparing and conducting handovers so that night staff are fully informed on the residents’ whereabouts and wellbeing at the beginning of shift;
- Participating in regular internal meetings about resident welfare and wider company business.

- handling and de-escalating highly pressured situations;

- recording, reviewing and analysing information and data;

- maintenance/building management.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintaining updated and accurate resident information and data;
- Forming and expanding relationships with Homemore partner agencies and services;
- Preparing welfare plans for residents;
- Being the initial point of contact for residents should they need assistance with anything
- Enforcing Homemore house rules;
- Keeping a record of and maintaining room inventory and arranging replacements for damaged/missing items;
- Liaising with other Resident Supervisors to strive for Continuous Improvement;
- Organising maintenance and cleaning teams and providing them with job sheets;
- Helping residents with life admin such as benefits, bank accounts, identifications, property searches etc;
- Highlighting safeguarding concerns regarding residents;
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation around resident welfare;
- General Administration (day-to-day and project based).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
